Have to show off one recently finished sapphire palladium ring that made a special customer very happy.
Unique cushion cut teal blue sapphire in a half bezel setting engagement ring.
The natural, untreated gemstone was cut by American master gem cutter Peter Torraca. The sapphire is from the Lowdar area of Kenya. It's very lively in hand with a beautiful play of royal blue to teal flashes. It looks slightly different in various light conditions, deep dark blue in low light to a ocean blue in sun light.

The palladium ring was finished with a satin finish.The band width is about 3 mm. Height above the finger about 6.1mm.
A matching palladium wedding band was created too with a hammered texture on the edges.
