A custom cut barrel shaped moissanite in a unique half bezel setting. The stone was custom cut for me by American master gem cutter Peter Torraca. He designed a Brilliant Barrel cut for this stone. It's a unique cut with 2 straight and 2 curved sides. The images in the second row show the actual stone you will get in the carved orange wax model. The wax will be cast and finished in your metal of choice. The actual stone is more spectacular than any of the computer renderings or photos can ever convey.
For this unusual gemstone I designed a ring setting that will show off it's spectacular beauty. The two curved stone sides are held by metal, while the straight sides get exposed as much as possible to allow even more light to enter and bring it to an amazing sparkle. The small bridge that connects the 2 curved sides is lowered on the stone's pavilion and not visible from the top.
The Moissanite is 1.90ct., 6.79mm wide x 6.95 long x 5.39mm deep. The faceted lab created gemstone has an amazing sparkle and fire.
The ring was carved out of wax to match perfectly the dimensions of the moissanite. It will be cast in your preferred choice of precious metal alloy. The ring will be finished and the stone set by hand.
The ring will be finished with a mirror polished finish, if you prefer a satin matte finish on the ring shank let me know during checkout. The band width is about 2.8 mm. Height above the finger about 7.5 mm.
Listing is for solitaire ring only. A matching wedding band can be ordered separately.

Some images are computer generated renderings to show the design from multiple angles and in different metal colors. I designed and modeled the ring in a 3D software. The final ring will be made by carving a model from a wax block, cast it, hand setting the gemstone and finishing the ring. It will look very similar to the renderings shown. For better illustration images in the second row show a couple views of the wax model with the actual stone you get.
