A brilliant cut rare gray moissanite is set in a round half bezel setting in this elegant engagement ring, handmade in gold, palladium or platinum.
The moissanites in the palladium and yellow gold rings as pictured measured 8mm/~1.65ct (2ct diamond equivalent) in the first images including the yellow gold ring and a 6.5mm/ ~0.9ct (1ct diamond equivalent). Other sizes are available too. The natural gray color in these moissanites is very rare and varies from a warm silvery gray to a darker medium gray (see images of available loose gray moissanites). The grey hue in moissanite can naturally occur during the crystal growing process, but it always happens as a happy accident. Some grays have tiny needle like inclusions barely visible to the naked eye. These Charles & Colvard® created moissanites in an exclusive color are in extremely limited supply. Like all Charles & Colvard® created moissanites they are made in USA and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The faceted lab created gem stone is hand set and the ring has a satin brushed finish as pictured (mirror polished finish is available upon request). The band width is about 3 mm. Height above the finger about 6.5mm with a 8mm/2ct moissanite, a bit less with smaller stones. The stone has an amazing sparkle and fire even in this gray color hue.
