This is a follow up review to "My boyfriend says it's beautiful."

He proposed and it was wonderful the fact that Alexandrite changes color made the proposal extra special because he checked the ring under an incandescent light and when he proposed it was outside and the ring was a beautiful blue color.

My only mild disappointment is that I don't live in with more incandescent lights so the ring is rarely purple, but when it is, it's really neat.

I got a custom band with an alexandrite in the center and that is also awesome. It honestly looks even better than I thought it would.

Like many reviewers, I was a little apprehensive about getting my engagement ring online. However I loved the look of the rings and the fact that moissanite was ethical compared to a diamond, so we decided to go for it. My (now) fiancé worked with Konstanze to determine the size of the stone and he was very impressed with her customer service. I got the ring in platinum with satin brushed finish. The 3 mm width is perfect for my size 9 finger, wide enough to make a statement but still sweet and feminine. The platinum feels hefty and solid, and the satin hammered texture feel so down to earth and has such an elegant sheen to it. The alexandrites have a cool green sparkle during the day that you just can't see in pictures or videos. They add a special magic to the ring that just feels like love. I planned to wear only this as a wedding ring, but I'm so enchanted with the the alexandrites I might get a solitaire ring to go with it 🙂

This ring is a lovely piece of wearable art that was particularly meaningful to us, but its simple elegance will move anyone you might give it to. Konstanze was responsive to my changed order (how do you mis-measure a finger you've known for 33 years? I can't answer that) and my stupid questions about which ring might work best (the wearer does surgery, so a traditional engagement stone was not practical for her). I'm not saying that a clandestine measurement of a ring she already wears and a private unexpected proposal is for everyone but this ring definitely worked for me.

This ring is so comfortable, unique, and beautiful. Although it is small, it does not feel fragile. It’s a perfect wedding band to wear with my engagement ring or just on its own.

I bought the Velda ring in rose gold with alexandrite stones and couldn’t be happier! Konstanze helped me determine how it might look as a shadow band with my engagement ring (pictured).
