Marquise Blue Sapphire Fold Ring
Finished the design I started end of last year for a new marquise shaped gemstone engagement ring design inspired by my Fold collection. This one was realized with a genuine 7x3.5mm/~0.4ct blue sapphire.
A marquise shaped blue Sapphire set in a semi-bezel in minimalistic engagement ring. The cut out of the partial bezel connects down to the tapered ring shank. At the bottom the ring is about 3.5mm wide tapering towards 2.5mm below the setting. It's a low profile setting, height above the finger is 3.6mm.
The ring can be ordered in various metal options in my shop. The ready to ship sample ring shown in these photos is available on Etsy.
I like this design and will have to make some samples with other gemstones too like white sapphires or moissanites and offer those in various gemstone sizes.
