Alexandrite Wave Engagement Ring
I think I fell in love with a new colored gemstone: Alexandrite. Why did I not work with this beauty before? Such a wonderful play of blues, purples and greens in different lights. A truly magical gemstone with color change abilities.
This wave ring design as pictured has a 5mm Chatham Lab created alexandrite in a platinum mounting. It's also available with 4mm an 4.5mm lab Alexandrite. I will also list some genuine alexandrite options soon. But genuine precious alexandrite gemstones is quite rare and therefore very pricy. They are seldom available in large sizes and often quite fractured. Lab created alexandrite offers a wonderful alternative at affordable prices. And Chatham created gemstones are the best on the market that show the famed color change beautifully.
In these shown images the alexandrite is not fully mounted in the ring as I am photographing it also with other ring design. Will list those in the coming days. Stay tuned.
