  • Cushion London or Swiss Blue Topaz Half Bezel Statement Ring

    A London or Swiss Blue cushion cut Topaz will set in a half bezel in this unique ring. The setting is a modified bezel setting with a low cut on 2 sides.The solitaire setting blends seamlessly with the slightly rounded ring shank. The ring will be hand carved out of wax, cast and hand finished.

    The ring is available  with a faceted checkerboard cut genuine gemstone in 5mm, 6mm or 7mm. Please select your preference. The ring shank can be finished with a mirror polished finish (last images) or a brushed satin finish (first images) upon request. The band width is 3mm. Height above the finger about  5mm to 6 mm (depending on stone size).

    Ring can also be ordered in various blue topaz colors. See last photo for options and indicate your preference in the comments during checkout. First pictures show a swiss blue topaz, the last pictures were taken with a London blue topaz just laid into a mounting (not set yet),

    Available in sizes 4 to 9, larger sizes may vary in price.

    About topaz: While topaz is pretty hard (8 on the Mohs hardness scale ) and therefore fairly scratch resistant, it is not the most durable gemstone. That's because it has perfect cleavage (similar to diamond). That means it can be chipped or split fairly easily by a sharp blow. Best to be worn with care. All colored topaz has been treated.
