Engagement ring with a green-blue to teal Fair Trade Montana sapphire set in a tapered semi bezel on a textured ring shank. The genuine sapphire will be hand set. The ring band is 3mm wide and has been given a fine hammered finish that provides a beautiful contrast to the mirror finish gold bezel. The ring shank and the bezel can be made from contrasting color metals or the same metal for a tone-in-tone-look.
Height of the half bezel setting above the finger about 4.5mm.
Fair Trade Montana sapphires in various sizes and green/blue to blue/green color hues are available.

- Size/Weight: 5mm/~0.57-0.62ct, 5.25mm/~0.65-0.7ct, 5.5mm/0.8ct
- Shape: round faceted
- Clarity: Eye Clean - Very slight inclusions; inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification

- Origin: Montana, USA (various Missouri River sapphire mines)

- K: 5.25mm/~0.65-0.7ct Teal Blue/Green Sapphire, nice mix of blues and greens. The well-cut gemstone has an amazing sparkle and beautiful teal-blue color, a nice mix of green and blue hues that changes in various lighting conditions. It has a tiny dark inclusion on the pavilion close to the girdle that can only be seen with magnification and will most likely be hidden in a setting.
These Montana sapphires are Fair Trade Level 1 Gemstone, the highest level available. The sapphires are sourced from Columbia Gem House, a true pioneer in the fair trade gem marketplace. Fair Trade Gems are closely tracked from mine to market to ensure that every gem has been handled according to these strict protocols. Helpful sizing tips
- Fingers on a dominant hand are generally slightly larger than on non-dominant hands— make sure you measure the right finger on the correct hand!
- Rings with wider bands will fit a bit tighter. Consider selecting one 1/4 to 1/2 size up from your normal ring size.If you plan to measure one of your partner's rings, try to measure one with a similar width as the ring you want to purchase.
- For stacking rings: for a more comfortable fit, consider selecting one 1/4 to 1/2 size up from your normal ring size.
- Make sure the finger is at normal body temperature — fingers can shrink or expand when hot or cold.
- Your fingers tend to change size throughout the day — the best time to measure your finger is the end of the day.
- If your knuckle is bigger, take 2 measurements and choose a size in between — ring needs to fit over knuckle but not be too loose or it will shift around.
