A Fair Trade royal blue Australian Kings Plain sapphire set in a unique wedding or engagement ring that features a wavy design with a pod-like appearance.
This unconventional ring is simple yet stylish with very organic fluid movements.
The ring is about 2 mm at the narrow areas and 4 mm at the widest pod parts, the low profile setting is 6.5 mm wide. The sapphire is 5 mm round, ~0.53ct. The metal is highly polished with a matte lightly grainy texture inside the pods.
The sapphire center stone is will be handset (in some images sapphire is just laid into the setting to allow for custom ring creation).

These Australian Kings Plain sapphires are Fair Trade Level 1 Gemstone, the highest level available. This rare sapphire is mined in the Australian state of New South Wales. The sapphires are sourced from Columbia Gem House, a true pioneer in the fair trade gem marketplace. Fair Trade Gems are closely tracked from mine to market to ensure that every gem has been handled according to these strict protocols. Helpful sizing tips
- Fingers on a dominant hand are generally slightly larger than on non-dominant hands— make sure you measure the right finger on the correct hand!
- Rings with wider bands will fit a bit tighter. Consider selecting one 1/4 to 1/2 size up from your normal ring size.If you plan to measure one of your partner's rings, try to measure one with a similar width as the ring you want to purchase.
- For stacking rings: for a more comfortable fit, consider selecting one 1/4 to 1/2 size up from your normal ring size.
- Make sure the finger is at normal body temperature — fingers can shrink or expand when hot or cold.
- Your fingers tend to change size throughout the day — the best time to measure your finger is the end of the day.
- If your knuckle is bigger, take 2 measurements and choose a size in between — ring needs to fit over knuckle but not be too loose or it will shift around.
