Wax carving fun
Share
Once I came back from my Holiday vacation and scouted through all my email and orders, it was back to business as usual. To get things rolling I spend 2 days just carving new waxes for all the orders I had received.
Those days of milling and wax carving are my favorite thing to do. It's somewhat more relaxing than metal work since screw ups are easier to fix in wax. A few of these were cast in silver, silver/palladium and gold in house. Others were mailed to my palladium and platinum caster. Stones are mostly Moissanites and Sapphires. I am really excited about the big pear shape Tanzanite on the left that will be set in 18k Yellow Gold.
I already finished a few of these last week and mailed the ring to their owners.Just received the palladium rings back and will finish those this week.
The bezel set ring with the 5mm princess cut white sapphire was cast in silver/palladium alloy.
