Mixed Metal Moissanite Engagement Ring

Playing with some metal combinations for some new upcoming mixed metal engagement rings. The first is a moissanite ring with a rose gold shank and an elevated palladium bezel.

In this ring the white color of the palladium bezel highlights the brilliant sparkle of the moissanite and provides a nice contrast to the warm color hue of the 14k rose gold ring shank.

The narrow rose gold shank was cast. I hand fabricated the palladium bezel from milled stock and formed the slight taper in my bezel block, then soldered it onto the rose gold shank. After cutting the seat for the round moissanite, it was hammer set and the bezel metal smoothed and polished. I gave the rose gold shank a satin brushed finish to deepen the contrast between the 2 different metals.

Smaller or larger moissanites than the listed 5mm to 6mm diameter sizes are possible too and can be created as custom designs. Standard and Forever Brilliant moissanites are available.

Right now the listed combinations usually include a bezel with contrasting color ring shanks or using the same metal for both shank and bezel for a tone in tone look.
