Custom Made Pear Montana Sapphire Gold Engagement Ring
As 2020 comes to an end, it's time to look at some of this years prettiest custom ring orders. One of those is a Montana sapphire ring I made for Jeff with a gorgeous pear shaped blue Montana sapphire.
Jeff picked the beautiful stone from one of my preferred Montana sapphire suppliers, Gemfix. I worked with Gemfix sapphires for a couple of years and they never disappoint. They are all beautiful and very well cut. I had a few customers who purchased sapphires from Gemfix and have me make a custom ring to fit it. They are one of the very few stone dealers I offer this service for.
The yellow gold complements the blue Montana sapphire so well. The sapphire itself had no green color hue in it. But once set in yellow gold, the warm reflections from the gold gave it some beautiful green flashes at certain viewing angles. The sapphire was 0.9ct, measuring 6.9mm x5.1mm.
